The term Social Relationship Management was coincidently coined and used by

Axel Schultze, Bob Thompson, Brian Solis, Esteban Kolski and some others.

Recognition and personal note: I (Axel Schultze) was a founding contributor to CRM 2.0 now SCRM from Paul Greenberg and much what we do was inspired by the work of Paul Greenberg and all of us trying to define CRM 2.0. And while there may be an overlap to SCRM, SRM has a much broader scope as it goes way bejond the sales focused customer relationship but social business relationships across all departments with no CRM baggage to carry with us.
